The series of blogs I publish can help beginners learn to play one of the oldest games in the world-chess.
By reading the text, and the examples I show, you will simply master the basics of the game.
You will quickly and easily master the basic concepts needed for the game.
I wish you a lot of learning success!
I will first get acquainted with the board and the figures we need for the game.
The board consists of 64 fields.
On the board in front of you in the left corner, the field is always black.
Look at the diagram.
The figures are placed on the board, see the diagram.
A white player has white pieces, the white player always playing his move first.
After him, a player with black pieces plays and so on alternately until the game is over. The game can end with the victory of one of the players, a draw, or a stalemate.
In tournaments, 1 point gets awarded for a victory and half a point for a draw or a stalemate.
To name the figures.
Each player has two cannons, two jumpers, two hunters, one king, and one queen.
They stay in the first row.
In the second row, eight pedestrians s placed in front of the mentioned figures.
Look how like before the start of the game.
The winner is the player who beats the opponent's king or the opponent hands him the game.
A draw occurs when the position is repeated three times when only the kings remain on the board, or by agreement of the players.
A stalemate occurs when the opponent's king does not have a single free field to move, and the player must play the king, while the king is not attacked by the opponent's figure.
